What was the highlight of Mövenpick Resort & Marine Spa Sousse
Overall, good.
The breakfast buffet had nice food. The hotel design is very very nice in my opinion. I loved the live music and general ambience in the evening. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathroom is very nice and the toilet flush is powerful! Haha. The service was overall good. The pool/sea view was beautiful to see the sunrise and sunset. Absolutely stunning. In the night, the pool area has lights which was also good. Moniya from housekeeping is very sweet and helpful. My Dad loved that you can smoke in the lobby so be mindful if that bothers you! There’s lots of tourist small shops just outside the hotel and the Sousse Médina is about 20-30 minute walk but a taxi using Bolt is much quicker for only 4.9 TND. We went to mosque Omar el Farouk which was a 15 minute walk.
No AC in February so we felt warm during the night. Room was old and we can see some old stains on curtains, sofa and bed frame. The dinner buffet food was disappointing and not wide range of selection and I was surprised they charged for water when we paid for the dinner in advance. However, the staff seemed understanding of our dissatisfaction with this but they were just doing their job. During breakfast, I did not like that when we asked the waiter for tea and coffee, he told us we can get it ourselves but when other European people asked, he got for them straight away. Seemed unfair. However he was only exception, the other staff were very kind and helpful.

Lovely stay at a luxurious place with great pool and beach access!
Lovely room and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great. Pool and beach are lovely. Staff were nice. The hotel itself has a nice airy feel to it. We are not the type of people to lounge around the hotel we like to get out and about but this pool and beach area was so nice that we had a full relaxing only day! Good location 30mins walk to Medina!
Breakfast was great but they need more staff to give cutlery and coffee as we waited for a long time all 3 mornings. Sometimes service was slow for cocktails also.

Very nice building and location. Also the spa is awesome.
It wasn’t clean (compare to the price) , the stuff was so slow and by my opinion only few for the size of the hotel. The only helpful guy was Rashid form the restaurant stuff and one nice cleaning lady.
